Kevin Owens has revealed he suffered an injury during his match with Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania 36.
During an interview with Pierre Houde of RDS Quebec, Owens confirmed he suffered either a sprained ankle or fracture following his big leap at Wrestlemania last month.
Owens also stated that for the last two weeks he has not been on WWE television because he chose to stay home amid the coronavirus pandemic.
He commended the WWE for allowing stars to not work during the crisis.
“The great thing about WWE is that it doesn’t require us to be there if we don’t want to. This is also why in the last two weeks I have not been present, because I preferred to be at home with my family”
It’s unknown how long Owens will be on the shelf with this injury, he does plan on having x-rays taken for an exact diagnosis.
