Kevin Owens will face Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at the 2021 Royal Rumble.

After Reigns signed the contract, Adam Pearce hobbled up the entrance ramp, then stated he was injured, and standard WWE contracts have clauses stating ‘card subject to change. Pearce was able to find a suitable replacement, Kevin Owens.
