Kurt Angle vs. Corbin Reportedly Not A Swerve
Last night at RAW Kurt Angle announced Baron Corbin would be his opponent for his final in-ring match at Wrestlemania 35.
According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, the match announcement yesterday was in fact what WWE has planned for Wrestlemania, and is not a swerve to lead to something else.

My farewell match will be against Baron Corbin at Wrestlemania. I realize it’s not the most popular decision from a fan’s perspective… BUT I will make Corbin tap out on the biggest stage… https://t.co/F6qYbja5GG

Kurt Angle himself was hoping for a more high-profile final opponent, but WWE opted to go with Baron Corbin. Angle’s wife responded to a tweet last night about the match being underwhelming, but has since deleted the post.

The reception to the match was met with negative response, and WWE did make note of it during the live broadcast. As of yesterday there is no plans to change the match, but as always that could change if WWE decides to go with a different direction due to negative feedback.
