Kurt Angle posted a video to Twitter earlier today which showed him lace up his boots whilst wearing his ring gear before the words ‘to be continued’ appeared at the end.

The reason behind the video, or what could come next hasn’t been revealed, however, Kurt Angle is one of the names rumored to be the ‘huge signing’ AEW will reveal at tomorrow’s Revolution pay-per-view. Another rumored name is Christian, who was recently revealed as not under WWE contract.

Angle last appeared on WWE Television to referee the Fight Pit match between Matt Riddle and Timothy Thatcher, before narrating Riddle’s SmackDown call-up vignettes.

Angle’s last match in WWE was against Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35, where he lost and retired from in-ring competition. This doesn’t mean that Angle won’t make an in-ring return though, as shown by countless wrestlers over the past few years.
