Kushida Becomes NXT Cruiserweight Champion
Kushida has captured his first championship in WWE.
During the inaugural Tuesday night episode of NXT on USA, Santos Escobar issued an open challenge for his NXT Cruiserweight Championship, which was answered by Kushdia.

Following the match, Kushida was interrupted by Jordan Devlin backstage, who spoke on his accolades in NJPW, mentioning how their paths will cross in the future.
Kushida joined WWE in 2019, publically signing a contract days before Wrestlemania 35.
