After a losing effort at this past weekend’s G1 Climax, Jon Moxley still remains one of the top attractions at New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Moxley, who signed a deal with NJPW following his departure from WWE is the current United States Champion, and will continue to work for the company through 2019. In a report from Sports Illustrated, Moxley’s deal with NJPW is set through Wrestlekingdom 14 in January 4, 2020.
Moxley signed his New Japan deal prior to All Elite Wrestling, which gives him the flexibility to work both promotions. It’s uncertain if Moxley will sign a new deal with New Japan following the expiration of his current contract. Following his debut appearance with AEW, Tony Khan revealed Jon Moxley’s signed a multi-year contract with the company.
