Lio Rush Crashes GCW Homecoming
Former WWE Cruiserweight Championship Lio Rush returned to the ring Saturday night for the first time in several months, attacking Joey Janela at GCW’s Homecoming event in Atlantic City, NJ.
He appeared following Joey Janela’s match against DDT’s Ironman Heavymetalweight Champion YOSHIHIKO. Rush, who was dressed in all black, hit Janela with a Spanish Fly, then unmasked revealing his true identity.

After being released from WWE this past April during company wide mass cuts, Lio Rush has teased retirement, now promoting his final match against Joey Janela at GCW Homecoming day two.
