Harper’s Contract Set To Expire This Fall

Luke Harper took to social media yesterday to publicly announce he has requested his release from WWE.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Luke Harper’s current WWE contract is set to expire in November. Despite Harper asking for his release, it is unknown whether Harper will be granted it.

Due to Harper being injured, WWE could add the time he was away to the ring to his current expiry date. Meltzer believes WWE will not do this due to the bad PR it would bring the company.

Meltzer was out of action for 5 months with a wrist injury, which did require surgery. Many speculate that Harper could be headed to All Elite Wrestling if he is granted his release.
