Luis Martinez, who is known under the name Punishment Martinez has received a name change in NXT.
In an interview with Sports Business Journal, it was revealed that Martinez will now be performing under the name Damien Priest. The character is set to have a new outfit, entrance music, and persona.
Martinez believes it’s a perfect fit. “I’ve always been into the weird, the odd, the dark, so that’s the character I’ve always represented,” Martinez said
Martinez signed with WWE in October,2018. He has been working NXT live events, and was a part of WWE’s Wrestlemania Axxess event earlier this month.
