WWE is gearing up SmackDown’s debut on FOX in a few weeks, which includes significant changes to the commentary team on both brands.
According to Wrestlevotes, WWE is reportedly looking at bringing back the two person commentary team. As of right now, the new announce teams will have Vic Joseph head Monday Night RAW, and Michael Cole head SmackDown Live.
Although nothing is set in stone, this currently is the working idea. No word who the other two commentators will be.
Hearing that significant changes are coming to the commentary teams once the SD to FOX move happens in a few weeks. All shows will be impacted, including RAW. A source has said the return of the 2 man booth is coming.

The plans as of now for the new announce teams include Michael Cole heading to SmackDown on FOX. I’m also told Vic Joseph is set to become the lead man on Monday Night RAW. Not set in stone, as nothing is with WWE, but this is their working idea.

The big question now is where this leaves Corey Graves, Renee Young, and Byron Saxton. Renee Young has been rumored to be hosting the up-coming WWE in-studio show on FS1, which will air Tuesday night’s.
