Martha Hart, the widow of the late Owen Hart will be releasing official merchandise in honor of her late husband.
Ahead of next week’s premiere of ‘Dark Side Of The Ring: The Last Days Of Owen Hart’, Martha Hart spoke with Chris Jericho on the ‘Talk Is Jericho’ podcast.
Martha revealed that she is going to release t-shirts in memory of Owen Hart following the release of the episode. She wants fans to be able to commemorate Owen Hart’s legacy, without any connection to WWE.
Following the death of Owen Hart, Martha filed a wrongful death lawsuit against WWE, which granted her approximately $18 million dollars. Proceeds from the suit were used to start the Owen Hart Foundation.
In 2013, Martha filed another lawsuit against WWE for use of Owen’s likeness in a DVD release, it was later settled in court.
Proceeds from t-shirt sales will go towards The Owen Hart Foundation.
