The Young Bucks have left Twitter, and many fans are wondering why the brothers have deactivated their accounts.
On 12/13, Matt Jackson sent out a tweet thanking fans on how amazing 2019 was for the duo.
Matt Jackson sent out the following tweet on Friday:
“Thank you so much for an amazing 2019. We’ve done some impossible things as a brand new start up company. I’m so happy & proud of our accomplishments in our first year. We couldn’t have done it without each & everyone of you.”
Later in the day, both Matt and Nick disabled their accounts, and fans began speculating whether this was part of a storyline, or due to a genuine situation.

Their father took to Twitter to clear the air, indicating Matt and Nick needed to take a break from the “toxicity” that came with the social media service.
“Thx for all the love We are getting from everyone wondering about Matt and Nick ! They are fine and just need a well deserved break from the toxicity on here ! They are the most sweetest most genuine guys ever! They don’t deserve the hate they get! Love u all”
Matt Jackson took to Instagram Monday, and provided details on why him and his brother deactivated their Twitter accounts.
Jackson believes Twitter took time away their families, as well a hindered their creativity. He also attributes taking breaks from Twitter as healing to their mental health.
Check out the full statement below.
First off, I acknowledge how ridiculous it is that I even need to talk about this, but it’s clearly a distraction. My brother & I decided to leave Twitter permanently a few days ago. We realized it took precious time away from our families who’ve already sacrificed enough time as it is. Also, we’ve noticed how it seems to stifle our creativity. Lastly, after taking numerous breaks this past year from Twitter, we found it to be healing to our mental health, so getting off completely was the next step. This will not change how we interact with our amazing fans, as we’ll continue to put out our best content online. Never be afraid to say hello to us whether it’s on social media or in person. Thanks so much for the support. We love you all very much. Happy holidays!
