MJF may not be as severely injured as once thought.
Reports originated from independent promotion Inspire Pro Wrestling stating MJF pulled out of their event tonight in Austin, TX due to a “severe elbow injury” suffered at AEW’s Fight For The Fallen.
According to Fightful Select, MJF is simply banged up and resting ahead of his AAA appearance this week. MJF will team with Cody at AAA’s television taping in Aguascalientes, Mexico on July 18.
MJF confirmed the news retweeting a post from Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp this afternoon.
I'm told @The_MJF's elbow injury isn't as serious as some are leading on. He banged up his elbow and decided to rest it ahead of his AAA tag team match with his "mentor" Cody Rhodes
