NCAA Champion Wants To Pursue Career With WWE

University Of Minnesota Wrestler and Olympic Hopeful Gable Stevenson recently sent out a tweet stating that he will be the ‘biggest star WWE has ever had.’

The NCAA Champion has spoken to Fightful Select (subscription required) where he has revealed that he has spoken to several WWE higher-ups including Paul Heyman, Triple H, and Gerald Brisco regarding a possible career with WWE.

Stevenson mentioned that whilst competing in the Olympics is his main focus right now, he is interested in wrestling in WWE sometime in the future. He clarified that despite not having much time to keep up with wrestling, he is aware of AEW however as of right now wants to pursue a WWE career.

He also confirmed to Fightful that wrestling isn’t the only career path he’s interested in going down, as he is considering a move to football or MMA, pointing out Brock Lesnar as someone who has taken the same path.
