Back in 1999 Jim Strauser rented out a studio in Tampa, FL and produced a cooking show featuring wrestlers titled “Wrestlin’ Up Some Grub”. The show featured appearances from Randy Savage, Paul Wight(Big Show), The Bushwackers, and Brian Knobbs of The Nasty Boys. The show was set to be pitched to the Food Network, and the WWE(F)
Jim’s son unearthed the footage on a VHS cassette when he was cleaning up with late father’s belongings.

Back in 1999, my Father pulled together Paul Wight (WWE’s Big Show), Macho Man Randy Savage, The Bushwhackers and Brian Knobs (of the “Nasty Boys”) to do a unique cooking show that combined food and wrestlers. He rented a Tampa studio and made it happen in one day. It was never picked up by a network. My Father pitched it to WWF (at the time, now WWE), Food Network and other networks. Looking at the stuff on Food Network these days, I wonder if it would have worked 10 years later.
