The New Day will no longer be a trio with Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston moving to Monday Night RAW, and Big E remaining on Friday Night SmackDown.
During night one of the WWE Draft, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston defeated Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura to win their 7th Smackdown Tag Team Championship.
Following the match Big E celebrated with the returning duo prior to Stephanie McMahon announcing the trio will be split due to WWE Draft picks.
Last month, Wrestlevotes first reported WWE had an idea of having members of the team work separate brands, but those plans were nixed at the time.
