The next NXT TakeOver has seemingly been revealed, and it’s on a very interesting date.
If you attempt to cancel your WWE Network subscription, you will be met with a message advertising WWE’s upcoming pay-per-view schedule. As shown below, one of the pay-per-views mentioned is NXT TakeOver on April 8th.

If NXT actually goes ahead with TakeOver on April 8th (which is a Thursday), then it will be a very unique day for it to take place, as past shows have either aired on a Saturday or Sunday.
WWE Wrestlemania Week Schedule
- Monday Night RAW – 4/5
- NXT on USA – 4/7
- NXT Takeover: 4/8
- Friday Night SmackDown – 4/9
- Wrestlemania 37 Night 1 – 4/10
- Wrestlemania 37 Night 2 – 4/11
- Monday Night RAW – 4/12
A recent report emerged from WrestleTalk, stating that WWE has no plans to hold any NXT matches at WrestleMania 37. This could of course change, however, it’s likely that the matches will now take place on the NXT TakeOver several days prior to WrestleMania.
