WWE has been utilizing NXT talent as audience members during during all television tapings in lieu of actual fans being able to attend.
Last week, Wrestling Inc ran a story indicating NXT talent are separate from main roster talent, and had to bring their own lunches to tapings, rather than eat catering provided by the company.
Another interesting note is that the talent used in the crowd were kept separate from the talent on the show. They did not get to eat at catering with the main roster stars, and they had to bring in their own packed lunches. They had their own tent outside where they ate and spent breaks.
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com, Nikki Cross purchased pizzas for NXT extras following the most recent set of tapings.
I was just told a story by someone talking about how great @NikkiCrossWWE was to the NXT extras after these set of tapings. Said she bought them all pizza as a token of appreciation. What a gem
