New Japan Pro Wrestling Best of the Super Juniors Tournament 27

New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced participants for this year’s Best of the Super Juniors 27 tournament.

This year’s tournament will only have one block with ten participants, rather than two blocks with twenty wrestlers.

The tournament was originally scheduled to take place in May, but was postponed due to the pandemic.

The following participants have been announced

  • BUSHI
  • DOUKI
  • El Desperado
  • Hiromu Takahashi
  • Master Wato
  • Robbie Eagles
  • Ryusuke Taguchi
  • SHO
  • Taiji Ishimori
  • Yoshinobu Kanemaru

The tournament will run from 11/15 through 12/11, and is available to watch on New Japan Pro World.


NJPW Super J-Cup 2020 Announced

New Japan Pro-Wrestling announced participants in the 2020 Super J-Cup tournament, which will take place next month.

Participants in this year’s tournament include talent from IMPACT, Ring Of Honor, and independent stars such as ACH, Lio Rush, and TJP.

  • ACH (Independent)
  • Blake Christian (GCW)
  • Chris Bey (Impact Wrestling)
  • Clark Connors (NJPW LA Dojo)
  • El Phantasmo (NJPW)
  • Lio Rush (Independent)
  • Rey Horus (ROH)
  • TJP (Independent)

The event will air live 12/12 on New Japan Pro World.
