Marty Scurll is interested in re-joining New Japan Pro Wrestling

Former ROH Lead Booker Marty Scurll was backstage at the recent NJPW Strong tapings in California.

Fightful Select reports that it wasn’t mentioned to them whether Scurll had any involvement at the tapings, it was noted that he has expressed his interest in re-joining the company.

Scurll last worked with NJPW in June 2019 for the Best Of Super Juniors Tournament however, he hasn’t worked with the company in any capacity since.

Scurll parted ways with Ring Of Honor, where he was the lead booker as well as being an in-ring talent following allegations were made against him during the Speaking Out movement last year.

The accusation came from a woman, who was 16 years old at the time of the alleged incident. She indicates the assault occurred at a hotel following an IPW event. Scurll responded to the allegations, stating the encounter was consensual and legal in the United Kingdom.

ROH issued a statement last June, insisting they have launched an investigation into the Speaking Out allegations against members of their roster.

Scurll currently resides in Orlando, The Wrestling Observer reported recently, he could be forced to leave the United States if he isn’t employed in the country.
