NXT Taping Following Friday Night SmackDown
WWE taped the 12/25 edition of NXT on USA tonight following Friday Night SmackDown.
Three matches were taped at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.

- Isaiah Swerve defeated Gentlemen Jack Gallagher
- Dominik Dijakovic defeated Bronson Reed
- Lio Rush & Keith Lee defeated Tony Nese and Damien Priest
WWE also plans to air an “Open Challenge” for Roderick Strong’s North American Championship. The match was taped on 12/11, and features Strong defending the title against Austin Theory.
WWE also taped two matches during this past week’s NXT television, including Candice LeRae vs. Taynara and Bianca Belair vs. Shotzi Blackheart.
It’s unknown if WWE will air all matches on the Christmas edition of NXT, or save a few for the New Year’s edition which also features the Year End Awards.
