NXT Television Taping Spoilers

NXT held their television tapings tonight at Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL.

The tapings are for the remainder of April and May, and are beginning to build up the next NXT Takeover event on 6/8/19 in San Jose, CA.

  1. Reina Gonzalez d. Lacey Lane
  2. NXT North American Title Match: Velveteen Dream d. Buddy Murphy
  3. Raul Mendoza d. Riddick Moss
  4. Johnny Gargano Promo: Gargano was interrupted by Adam Cole, and attacked by Undisputed Era. This was to setup a match later in the tapings between Gargano and Strong
  5. Dominic Dijakovic d. Fry Daddy – Dijakovic wants to challenge Velveteen Dream for the NXT North American Title.
  6. NXT Women’s Championship Match: Shayna Baszler d. Kairi Sane – The stipulation was if Sane lost, she would never be able to challenge for the NXT Women’s Championship. Io Shirai attacked Baszler which resulted in a DQ. Sane bowed to the crowd after the match. It seemed like her NXT sendoff.
  7. Humberto Carrillo d. Jaxson Ryker via DQ following a Forgotten Sons attack. Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch made the save.
  8. Candice LeRae and Kacy Catanzaro d. Vanessa Borne and Aliyah
  9. NXT Tag Team Championship: War Raiders d. Street Profits
  10. NXT Championship: Johnny Gargano d. Roderick Strong. Gargano won after Adam Cole accidentally kicked Roderick Strong. After the match Strong seemed unhappy with Cole.
  11. Dominick Dijakovic d. Mansoor – Velevteen Dream came out and cut a promo on Dijakovic
  12. The Forgotten Sons d. Humberto Carrilo, Danny Burch, and Oney Lorcan
  13. KUSHIDA d. Kassius Ohno
  14. Bianco Belair d. Mia Yim
  15. Matt Riddle d. Adam Cole.
