NXT filmed their next set of TV tapings tonight at Full Sail University in Orlando, FL.

Dark Match: Shane Strickland d. Trevor Lee

Segment: NXT Tag Team Champions The Viking Raiders came out to relinquish the titles, but are interrupted by The Street Profits. The Raiders ask William Regal to setup a title match later in the night.

Keith Lee d. Cezar Bononi

KUSHIDA d. Kona Reeves – Drew Gulak observed the match from the top of the ramp.

NXT Tag Team Championship: The Viking Raiders vs. The Street Profits ended in a no contest following interference from The Forgotten Sons, Oney Lorcan, and Danny Burch. The Raiders laid the titles on the mat, and bowed out following the match. The titles are now vacant.

Xia Li d. Rachael Evers

Segment: The Undisputed Era come to the ring. Adam Cole says at NXT Takeover in two weeks, O’Reilly and Fish will capture the NXT Tag Team Titles, and he will win the NXT Title.  Johnny Gargano has a face off with Adam Cole.

Mansoor Al-Shehail d. Sean Maluta

Segment: The Velveteen Dream cuts a promo, but is interrupted by Tyler Breeze who says he has returned home. They take a selfie together, and Breeze lays out Dream.

Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel d. Team 3.0

Candice LeRae d. Reina Gonzalez. Following the match, LeRae is attacked by Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke, and Marina Shafit. Io Shirai makes the save.

Bobby FIsh and Kyle O’Reilly d. Matt Riddle and Johnny Gargano

Mia Yim d. Bianca Belair

Kushida d. Drew Gulak.

The Forgotten Sons vs, Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch – Ends in DQ when The Street Profits interfere. Undisputed Era then hit the ring and laid everyone out. Following the match The Undisputed Era post on a ladder.

NXT Takeover – New Date Announced

WWE has announced a date for the next NXT Takeover event following the television tapings tonight at Full Sail University.

The event will take place on Saturday June 1, 2019. The location and ticket details will be announced Monday May 6.

The original date was set for June 8 in San Jose, but due to WWE’s event in Saudi Arabia, it has been pushed back a week. It’s not known if it will still be held in San Jose.

During tonight’s NXT TV tapings, the following matches matches were confirmed.

  • NXT Championship: Johnny Gargano vs. Adam Cole
  • Fatal Four-Way NXT Tag Team Championship (Vacant) – Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish vs. Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch vs. The Forgotten Sons vs. The Street Profits.

The following matches were not confirmed, but have been built up.

  • NXT North American Championship: The Velveteen Dream vs. Tyler Breeze
  • Matt Riddle vs. Roderick Strong
  • Shayna Baszler, Marina Shafir, Jessamyn Duke vs. Io Sirai, Candice LeRae, TBA
