WWE Hall of Famer Snoop Dogg will be appearing at an upcoming special episode of AEW Dynamite titled New Year’s Smash on 1/6.
Bryan Alvarez spoke about the appearance on the most recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, noting some people backstage at WWE are upset with Snoop Dogg appearing in AEW.
Alvarez stated, “regarding Snoop Dogg, I do know people in WWE are very upset that Snoop Is appearing on this show”. Dave Meltzer reiterated, Snoop is not under any contract with WWE, and is actually part of the Turner family.

Snoop Dogg will be appearing alongside AEW EVP Cody Rhodes on the upcoming TBS competition series “Go Big Show”.
