WWE will be holding their next event in Saudi Arabia this Thursday in Riyadh, with a nine team Tag Team Turmoil Match to decide the next World Cup winners.
According to Fightful Select, the current plan The Viking Raiders winning the Tag Team Turmoil Match at WWE Crown Jewel. The reasoning behind the win would be to “stack accolades” on the team, who are the current RAW Tag Team Champions.
“As of early this week the plan was for the Viking Raiders to win the tag gauntlet at Crown Jewel to “stack accolades” for them. We haven’t heard any updates on the plans for that match since then.” – Fightful Select

Earlier today footage was released showing Shane McMahon arriving in Riyadh. McMahon was written off television following Friday Night SmackDown after losing a Ladder Match against Kevin Owens. McMahon was last year’s World Cup Winner. Him being at the at the event could have him involved somehow in the match, but that has not been confirmed.
WWE Crown Jewel will emanate from the King Fahd International Stadium on 10/31.
