RAW Star Expected To Appear On NXT TV To Setup Wrestlemania 36 Match

This week’s NXT episode on USA Network could feature a major angle setting up a championship match at Wrestlemania 36.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Charlotte Flair is scheduled to to be in Orlando, FL for NXT television Wednesday night.

Earlier today, news broke indicating Charlotte Flair is currently penciled in to face Rhea Ripley for the NXT Championship at Wrestlemania 36.

During Monday Night RAW, Flair stated she would be challenging for “A Championship” at Wrestlemania 36 following her win at the 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble Sunday night.

Dave Meltzer noted during Wrestling Observer Radio a preliminary card has been released internally featuring several matches.

WWE Wrestlemania 36 – Internal Match Card

  • WWE Championship: Brock Lesnar vs. Drew McIntyre (Announced)
  • WWE Universal Championship: Bray Wyatt vs. Roman Reigns
  • WWE RAW Women’s Championship: Becky Lynch vs. Shayna Baszler
  • NXT Championship: Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair
  • Randy Orton vs. Edge

WWE Wrestlemania 36 will be held on 4/5 from the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL.
