During the 1/6 episode of Monday Night RAW, WWE security tackled a man in the ring following a match between Akira Tozawa and AJ Styles.
Following the incident it was revealed that he wedding officiant in the Lana-Lashley marriage angle was the man who was tackled.
It was later revealed that the incident was part of WWE’s script, and was not a miscommunication between production and security.

Dave Meltzer provided more details on the reasoning behind the angle in the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
It appears WWE wanted to do something “out of the box”, with the idea that anything can happen during the show. They also cut to commercial right away trying to hook people in to not switch channels.
People figured security screwed up on live TV and thought he was a fan. It was actually all part of the show. It was a way to get people talking by doing something out of the box with the idea anything can happen on the show and they did it right before a planned commercial break with the idea of hooking people to not switch channels during the break by having people see something they thought they weren’t supposed to see.
It’s unclear how often WWE will try and run similar angles during future WWE programming.
