WWE will be facing a major departure in the upcoming weeks, as broadcast personality Renee Young is leaving the company.
As first reported by OutKick, and later confirmed by PWInsider, Renee Young gave her notice to WWE a week ago, with multiple sources confirming the story. It’s unknown when her final date with the company will be.
“WWE broadcast personality Renee Young is leaving World Wrestling Entertainment, PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources. We are told Young gave the company notice a week ago that she intends to exit. There is no word when her final date with the company is yet.”
Last week, Renee Young posted a quote on her Instagram story, “I know what I bring to the table, so trust me when I say I’m not afraid to eat alone.” It’s unknown if this has anything to do with her exit from the company.
Renee Young was hired by WWE in 2012, she previously worked for The Score in Toronto, known for her work on Right After Wrestling, later renamed Aftermath.
More recently, Renee Young was working with FS1 and WWE Backstage. She has been shifted to a special contributor within the company since late last year.
Renee Young is married to current AEW Champion Jon Moxley. The two met in WWE, and began dating in 2013, later getting married.
WWE has not returned a request for comment.
