Update 10:10AM ET – Fightful Select is reporting Alexa Bliss is also on the charter flight to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
It’s unknown if any match between Alexa Bliss and Natalya is set for the event this Friday.
WWE Superstars are headed to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for this Friday’s Super ShowDown pay-per-view.
A charter flight left San Antonio, TX full of WWE talent, including Renee Young and Natalya. This will be Renee Young’s second trip to Saudi Arabia, as she served as a commentator for last year’s Crown Jewel event.
It’s unknown why Natalya is making the trip, or if any other females are expected to travel to Saudi Arabia.
Historically women have been restricting from competing at WWE events in Saudi Arabia. “While, right now, women are not competing in the event, we have had discussions about that and we believe and hope that, in the next few years they will be.” Triple H stated in a BBC interview last year.
In an interview with ESPN last month, Natalya stated she would want to wrestle in Saudi Arabia one day. “For women to be able to one day be able to perform in Saudi Arabia, I know it’s not something we’re doing it at this moment, one day I want to be one of the women to do that.” Natalya stated.

WWE has a scheduled press conference on Thursday afternoon at The Hotel Galleria By Elaf in Jeddah. Stars scheduled to appear include Seth Rollins, Kofi Kingston, and Mustafa Ali.
