Adam Cole Finished With WWE NXT

The future of Adam Cole is in question following his聽 loss against Kyle O’Reilly during Sunday’s NXT Takeover 36.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider confirmed Sunday’s match was his last for the yellow and black brand. It’s unknown if he plans to sign a new deal with WWE, or pursue different options, including All Elite Wrestling.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select (subscription required) noted, as of Sunday morning “Adam Cole had not signed a new WWE contract”. His current contract expired this past July, he signed a short term extension until Takeover.

Cole met with Vince McMahon in recent weeks, and pitches have been made for him to join the main roster.

As more details on his future are known, an update will be provided.
