All Elite Wrestling’s first pay-per-view of 2021 is being moved from the end of February to March.
Originally scheduled for February 27, AEW Revolution will now take place on Sunday, March 7th, the first-time the company has produced a PPV on a Sunday night.
According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, AEW originally wanted to move the event to Saturday, March 6, but did not want to host the show the same day as UFC 259.
Last week, AEW uploaded a promotional graphic to its Youtube channel featuring the March 7 date, but quickly removed it.
Reddit user “GKZPL” uploaded this AEW Revolution ad taken from their YouTube channel. It has since been taken down. Notice the date is a Sunday. pic.twitter.com/oAbDGgCI8y
