Chelsea Green Medically Cleared To Make Return
WWE SmackDown star Chelsea Green has been cleared to return to the ring.
According to Fightful Select (subscription required), Chelsea Green began the process to return prior to the Royal Rumble. WWE sources confirmed she was cleared by mid-February. Green suffered a wrist injury last November during her SmackDown debut.
She recently signed a three-year WWE contract extension, as her prior deal was set to expire sometime this summer.
Chelsea Green originally signed a deal with WWE in October 2018, reporting to the Performance Center in Orlando, FL. Unfortunately, she sustained an injury the following spring, breaking her wrist during NXT television tapings in March 2019.
In 2020, Green spent several months off WWE television, despite reportedly being part of the main roster. Original plans had Green under the name “Victorious”, but some felt there could be problems trademarking the name.
