Drew Gulak is set to return to WWE television, following his recent departure after his contract expired.
According to Fightful Select (subscription required), Drew Gulak is at this week’s SmackDown tapings, and participated in a Battle Royal with over a dozen other wrestlers.
It’s unknown if Gulak reached a new deal with WWE, as negotiations were ongoing between his agent Barry Bloom and the company.
His initial departure from the company was due to an offer being rescinded by WWE when it was time to sign a new deal. During negotiations Gulak requested more money, but was not provided a raise.
Drew Gulak has been moved from the alumni section of WWE.com, to an active member of the SmackDown roster.
Further to @SeanRossSapp’s report on Fightful Select regarding Drew Gulak working WWE tapings this week, it’s worth noting he’s now been moved back from Alumni to Current Superstars on https://t.co/aBL0CeB0Hu pic.twitter.com/OIj9K3tdyN
