Edge To Challenge For WWE Universal Championship At Wrestlemania 37

Following his win at Sunday’s Royal Rumble, Edge is expected to challenge for the WWE Universal Championship at Wrestlemania 37.

He entered the match at #1, and ended up lasting over 58 minutes in the match, becoming a two-time Royal Rumble winner.

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline, Edge vs. Roman Reigns is the planned main event for Wrestlemania.

“Not sure when this will be officially announced, but Roman Reigns vs. Edge is the planned main event at WrestleMania,”

Edge appeared during the opening segment during Monday’s episode of RAW, teasing a potential Wrestlemania match with WWE Champion Drew McIntyre. During the segment he did not issue a challenge.

The report also notes, there is no official word on Bianca Belair’s Wrestlemania 37 opponent.

WrestleMania 37 is a two-night event taking place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11.
