Finn Balor has requested time away from WWE.
According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Finn Balor has requested a leave of absence from the company. According to sources, Balor asked WWE for two months off, and although reasons are not known, one source indicates he is looking to “recharge”.
Balor’s request has been granted, and he will begin his time off sometime in August. It’s unknown exactly when in August Balor will begin his leave, but it would likely be after SummerSlam.
Finn Balor lost the WWE Intercontinental Championship to Shinsuke Nakamura at Kickoff Show prior to Extreme Rules.
Balor was attacked by a returning Bray Wyatt tonight on RAW, seemingly setting up a program between the two, possibly at Summerslam.
