AEW World Champion Is Scheduled To Make IMPACT Wrestling Return

Following his appearance during this week’s episode of IMPACT! on AXS, AEW World Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega is scheduled to return to the company.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Kenny Omega is scheduled to return to IMPACT television next week, and headline future pay-per-view events for the company.

During his segment on this week’s episode, Omega hinted he was becoming a belt collector. During the same episode, IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann was denied access to the parking lot where Omega’s bus was parked.

They certainly teased the idea of Omega vs. Impact champion Rich Swann coming with both belts at stake. We do know that Omega will make appearances on Impact television, including back on 12/15, and headline at least some Impact PPV shows.

Rich Swann will defend the IMPACT World Championship at this weekend’s Final Resolution special against Chris Bey. The promotion’s next major pay-per-view is Hard to Kill on 1/16.
