WWE’s Zeus Passes Away At Age 62

Tommy “Tiny” Lister, better known to wrestling fans as Zeus has passed away at the age of 62.

According to TMZ, Lister was found unconscious in his Marina Del Ray apartment Thursday, he was pronounced dead on the scene. The coroner’s office has yet to release a cause of death.

Lister worked a handful of matches for WWE in 1989 during a cross-promotion for the film, “No Holds Barred’, starring opposite Hulk Hogan. He also appeared for WWC in Puerto Rico, and WCW as Z-Gangsta.

Pro Wrestling Illustrated ranked Zeus at 500 in their annual PWI 500 in 1991.

He is best known for his acting work, most notably as “Deebo” in the Friday movie series. He also had roles in The Fifth Element, and The Dark Night.

Lister also made numerous cameos in commercials, and appearances in music videos for Sublime, Chamillionaire, Master P, Michael Jackson, and Akon.
