Former WWE Stars Set To Work For Two Promotions

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson are set to work for work both Impact Wrestling and New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

Following reports that the pair agreed to a deal with Impact Wrestling, Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that they have cut a deal with Gedo and Nobuyuki Sugabayashi of New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

“In fact, they’ve already cut the New Japan deal with Gedo and Nobuyuki Sugabayashi, although it likely doesn’t go into effect until New Japan’s hiring freeze ends, so they will likely have two separate contracts and Impact made it clear they would work around their Japanese dates.”

Impact Wrestling made a very lucrative deal with the former WWE stars, allowing them to also work for NJPW.

The pair are technically still bound by WWE contracts, with a non-compete clause ending on 7/15. Their debut for Impact will likely be at Slammiversary on 7/18, or shortly after.

Gallows and Anderson worked for New Japan Pro-Wrestling from 2013 – 2016, prior to signing a deal with WWE.
