WWE is once again making adjustments to how they provide content to fans during the current health crisis.

Last week, reports surfaced that Vince McMahon wants to scrap any plans to pre-record television, and once again return to live broadcasts weekly.

It seems McMahon has once again changed his mind, and now has plans to begin pre-taping episodes of RAW, SmackDown, and NXT television.

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE plans to only live four times over the next week, then begin pre-taping episodes.

The following schedule covers WWE’s current plans until July.

  • Friday April 17: SmackDown airs live
  • Monday, April 20: RAW airs live
  • Wednesday April 22: NXT airs live
  • Friday April 24: SmackDown airs live
  • Saturday, April 25; SmackDown taping for 5/1 and 5/8
  • Monday, April 27;  RAW tapings for 4/27 and 5/4
  • Wednesday, April 29; NXT tapings for 4/29 and 5/6

  • Monday, May 25; RAW taping for 5/25 and 6/1
  • Tuesday, May 26; SmackDown taping for 5/29 and 6/5
  • Wednesday, May 27; NXT taping for 5/27 and 6/3
  • Monday, June 8; RAW taping for 6/8 and 6/12

  • Tuesday, June 30; SmackDown taping for 7/3 and 7/10
  • Wednesday, July 1; NXT taping for 7/1 and 7/8

WWE will continue to be strict on health and safety measures during tapings at the Performance Center. This includes the use of face masks, medical screening, matches done in waves, and adhering to social distance practices when not performing.

WWE confirmed the schedule, and issued the following statement.

“We believe it is now more important than ever to provide people with a diversion from these hard times,” the company said in a previous statement. “We are producing content on a closed set with only essential personnel in attendance following appropriate guidelines while taking additional precautions to ensure the health and wellness of our performers and staff. As a brand that has been woven into the fabric of society, WWE and its Superstars bring families together and deliver a sense of hope, determination and perseverance.”

Due to how fluid the current health crisis is additional changes could be made to the television taping schedule. As more details are known, additional updates will be posted.
