Will we see the return of Becky Lynch At Wrestlemania 37?
A former champion could be returning to WWE this weekend.
With WrestleMania taking place this weekend, fans have begun to discuss potential surprises we could see at this year’s show of shows.
Becky Lynch hasn’t been seen on WWE Television since last May when she announced her pregnancy, however, we could soon be seeing ‘The Man’ back on television four months after giving birth to her first child with Seth Rollins.
Dave Meltzer noted on The Wrestling Observer that Lynch could potentially be making her return at this year’s WrestleMania in an angle that would see her interrupt Bayley’s ‘Ding Dong, Hello?’ talk show. Whilst WWE hasn’t yet officially announced this segment, this could explain why Bayley hasn’t yet been booked in a match for this year’s show, which came as a surprise to many fans after spending the majority of 2020 as SmackDown Women’s Champion.
If they add a Bayley talk segment to Mania, that would likely be Lynch’s return as the idea of her driving a big truck in at one of the two Mania shows during a Bayley talk show segment is something we were told was being planned at one point.
Fightful Select (subscription required) has added to the report, noting that WWE was ‘hopeful’ that Becky Lynch could make an appearance at this year’s WrestleMania, this will obviously be kept a huge secret within the company.
WWE’s Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan revealed earlier this week that both Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey will be returning to the company in the near future.
