Meiko Satomura is reportedly headed to the United Kingdom and is expectedto join WWE’s NXT UK brand according to Tokyo Sports.
On Tuesday, Satomura announced she will be making limited appearances for Sendai Girls’ Pro Wrestling, the promotion she founded in 2005.
“I want to advance to my new stage. In the future, I will leave the group to the current players as a limited participation.” Satomura stated.
According to the report, it’s expected Satomura will travel to the United Kingdom in early November, and become an in-ring talent and coach for the NXT UK brand.
Local Japanese media have began reporting she will be joining NXT UK, but Satomura has yet to confirm the report, stating “There is no such story at the moment,”.
Meiko Satomura participated in the 2018 WWE Mae Young Classic, and previously guest coached at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.
