WWE is looking to add more names to their NXT UK roster, with several independent talent close to signing contracts.
According to Gary Cassidy of Inside The Ropes, multiple independent talent are in London for a three-week training session prior to the next set of NXT UK tapings. The company wants to take “a closer look at them ahead of any potential signing”.
The report indicates the following names are at the training session.
- Sha Samuels
- Alea James
- Molly Spartan
- Tony Gill (formerly Gursinder Singh of IMPACT Wrestling)
One name who isn’t at the session, but has signed a deal is Adam Maxted, known for his work in World Of Sport and realty TV series Love Island.
Another prominent talent from the UK indie scene has also signed a deal, but their name has yet to be revealed. WWE is also looking to sign additional referees, Rich Swift was recently confirmed as a signee.
WWE has been using BT Studios as their home base for NXT UK tapings.
