Edge could reportedly be getting a new stable immediately.
Edge recently turned heel during the build to his match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania, debuting a new theme and unique purple lighting during his in-ring promos.
These may not be the only changes made to Edge’s character however, as he could be set to lead a new stable, according to a new report.
Fightful Select notes that pitches have been made to give Edge a new stable, with Damian Priest being discussed as a potential member.
Many fans were left disappointed when Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor for the United States Championship wasn’t added to the WrestleMania card, with the two wrestlers instead taking part in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal during this past Friday’s SmackDown.
Priest could still be involved in WrestleMania however, as Fightful notes that unless plans change, the faction could debut imminently. With Edge taking on AJ Styles on WrestleMania Sunday, it’s completely possible that Priest appears here to form the new stable.
While Edge and Priest are yet to interact with one another on WWE television, both wrestlers have expressed interest in working together, and Edge referenced Priest during a recent promo on Raw.
