We may see a return tonight during Friday Night SmackDown
Lacey Evans hasn’t been seen on WWE television since last February, when she announced that she would be taking time off to have her second child.
Evans gave birth to her second child last October, and could now be returning to television as early as this Friday, according to a report from PWInsider.
The report notes that Evans is scheduled to be at tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown taping, from the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Lacey Evans hasn’t yet been assigned a brand, as she was absent for the WWE Draft late last year. She last appeared as a member of the Raw roster.
WWE’s plans for Evans are also unknown, however prior to her exit she feuded with current SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair on Raw. The storyline included Charlotte’s father Ric Flair, who’s no longer with the company after being granted his release last August.
This week’s Raw saw the return of Elias, who has been repackaged as ‘Ezekiel’. Bayley and Asuka are also rumored to be making their returns to television in the near future after recovering from their injuries.
WWE have only announced one segment for this week’s SmackDown so far, with that being Roman Reigns’ addressing his next move following his winner-takes-all match victory over Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
