Ring Of Honor has plans to resume production on their weekly television show later this month. The company canceled all television tapings, live events, and pay-per-view specials during the health crisis.

Despite not running any shows, the company continued to pay talent and staff for all scheduled events, including those who were not under contract, but were scheduled to make appearances.

Over the last few months, plans to begin producing empty arena shows were spoken about internally. Original plans had television tapings taking place in July, but that was canceled due to spikes in COVID-19 cases.

According to PWInsider Elite (subscription required), Ring Of Honor has plans to resume production on August 22 and 23 from their homebase in Baltimore, MD.

The report indicates ROH will be utilizing a similar strategy to the NBA and NHL, implementing a “bubble” where talent and staff will only be permitted to to certain places within a predetermined radius.

Ring Of Honor plans to scale down their roster for the upcoming tapings, bringing in talent early to sequester prior to producing events. Everyone will be tested, and proper health protocols will be followed to ensure the safety of crew and performers.

The last Ring Of Honor event was the Gateway to Honor event on February 29.
