Rey Mysterio Planned For Universal Title Opportunity
WWE is reportedly planning for Rey Mysterio to receive a Universal Championship match at Hell In A Cell later this month.
According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline, the current plan is for Roman Reigns to defend the WWE Universal Championship against Rey Mysterio at the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view on June 20.
This match is being built up following an angle from this past week’s Friday Night SmackDown, Reigns attacked both Rey and his son Dominik during their main event match against The Usos.
WWE has yet to confirm the match.
