Wrestlemania 36 has now come and gone, and unfortunately Tampa Bay was unable to host the event due to the ongoing health crisis.
WWE has already announced next year’s event will emanate from the SoFi Stadium outside Los Angeles on 3/28/21.
According to Wrestlevotes, Tampa Bay may have another chance at Wrestlemania in 2022. The report indicates a bid was placed to hold Wrestlemania 38.
Now that the weekend that “was to be” has passed, I can say that Tampa Bay will be in the running to host #Wrestlemania 38 in 2022.
All the initial legwork is obviously done, with the city still very much eager to host the event. Might be a shoe in. Time will tell.
