One year after asking for their WWE release, Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson, The Revival, once again have asked to be released from their contracts.
As first reported by Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live, The Revival asked for their release from WWE sometime last week. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has also confirmed the report.
As of today, The Revival is still under WWE contracts
Earlier this month, Fightful Select reported that WWE has made continued efforts over the last several months to re-sign the pair.
Last year, WWE offered The Revival $550,000 each per-year to sign new deals with the company
The company has also offered a reduction in dates for the team, as they worked in excess of 150 shows in 2019.
The report from earlier this month indicated once source stating WWE is “throwing everything at the Revival, and they’re just saying ‘we’ll let you know.’”
One of the major talking points for for the pair to be “well-booked” in the WWE tag-team division.
The duo have trademarked several names including “#FTR” and more recently “Shatter Machine”.
These trademarks were filed via Michael E. Dockins of SHUMAKER LOOP & KENDRICK. The same attorney has filed individual trademarks for Shawn Spears, Charlotte Flair, and Andrade, and Joey Janela.
The Revival’s WWE contracts expire this Spring. As of today, The Revival are still under WWE contracts
