The Rock vs Roman Reigns may not happen until WrestleMania 38.

According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, Dwayne Johnson has brought up the possibility of facing Roman Reigns, however he wants it to happen in 2022. It was also noted that it is all up to him and he could have the match at any time, whether that’s next month or next year.

The Rock mentioned a few months ago that he would be up for wrestling in Los Angeles, which was supposed to be the location of WrestleMania 37. WrestleMania 37 is now likely going to take place in Tampa Florida, meaning WrestleMania 38 will probably be given to Los Angeles.

The Rock last official WWE match was at Wrestlemania 32, defeating Erick Rowan in six seconds.
