The Gypsy King could be making his WWE return soon.
When SmackDown debuted on FOX in 2019, various wrestling legends and celebrities were present for the show. Among those in attendance was Tyson Fury, who attempted to jump the barricade after being taunted by Braun Strowman.
This then led to a match between the two at Crown Jewel in 2019. Fury was victorious in his in-ring debut, and then a few weeks later when SmackDown was in the United Kingdom, the two put their differences aside to beat down The B-Team.
Fury hasn’t been seen in WWE since, however rumblings of his return began when WWE announced that they would be coming to Cardiff for Clash at the Castle, the first Premium Live Event to be held in the UK in 30 years.
During a recent press conference, Fury showed his interest in appearing at the event, however nothing has yet been announced regarding his return.
According to GiveMeSport, Fury is ‘in talks’ with WWE regarding a potential return. Nothing is yet set in stone, however his return would ‘tie in’ with Clash at the Castle in September.
Fury isn’t the only celebrity who may be returning to WWE soon, as last week it was announced that Logan Paul has signed with the company, with his return likely to take place at SummerSlam later this month.
